Wear a Peaceful John Lennon Leather Jacket 8 Days a Week

How often the Suzahdi team of tailors and the rest of us, the customer service department, have sung Beatles’ songs while working? 8 Days a Week, especially “Imagine!” That is why we decided to make our version of the smooth brown suede John Lennon leather jacket, THE MAN wore on the cover of the Rubber Soul album. He is a true inspiration.

John Lennon was also a choir boy and a boy scout. His first instrument was a banjo. He tried to become a vegetarian when the rest of the Beatles chose to do that, but he just enjoyed meat too much. He loved cats, too!

That’s Kenton Adler who models the Suzahdi version of the John Lennon leather jacket in our website listing. He was born in Arkansas, raised in Colorado, and now lives in Arkansas, where he works as Director of Advancement Services and Research at Lyon College.

The gentleman served as a meteorologist in the United States Navy from 1976-1980. He has a B.A. in Art and Psychology from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 1987 and studied History in the graduate program at the University of Arkansas.

One thing that is super cool is that Mr. Adler played guitar in a number of rock bands during the 1980s and is now a piper with the Lyon College Pipes and Drums. He, like all of Suzahdi customers, is someone one cannot forget, a real collaborator and genius. We met him when he ordered our version of the Star-Lord Guardians of the Galaxy red leather jacket. We appreciate him.

Imagine donning the Suzahdi version of the John Lennon leather jacket while watching that new Beatles’ documentary that shows on Disney Plus called “The Beatles: Get Back” with Lennon’s favorite drink, a Brandy Alexander.

“IMAGINE” by John Lennon

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

[Verse 2]
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

[Chorus]
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

[Verse 3]
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

GQ magazine said once that John Lennon is the most stylish musician of all time. He set trends with his tiny round eyeglasses, white t-shirts and turtlenecks, fur coat, and black suits draped over his svelte frame. Don’t forget his US Army jacket. What a surprise for a Brit to do that, and people loved it and still love it.

Aw, we almost forgot his blue velveteen pants with the big black belt, psychedelic green shirt with the sweet ruffles along the button lines, and his jacket that actually had white fur trim. He was an amazing fashionista. We still love the John Lennon leather jacket the most.
